I opened my front door at 6.30am, it was bitterly cold and the grass was white, the first frost.
Tonight would also have been the first night of the new season of lectures and other activities, indeed, the new President’s evening.
A time to come together old and new members, but it is not to be, Covid has stopped us gathering.
All members who were members last season, will automatically be members from today without having to pay membership, as we do not know at this stage when we can have meetings again, hopefully sometime in the New Year.
Please keep well and follow the government’s guidelines. As soon as we get the go-ahead we will be in touch again to let you know when we can start the 2020/2021 programme.
