This week we have a focus on Endangered Species. Hedgehogs have been spotted in the Raines Lane area of Grassington and one posed for Marg’s camera. I have identified a butterfly spotted by Ann as a Dark Green Fritillary, but a more knowledgable eye might say it is one of the Fritillary’s endangered cousins. Ann has also found a Barn Owl, Cuckoo and Frog as well as a ancient direction post for us to enjoy.

As usual, any help with naming flowers, fungi and cow breeds would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Keith P.
