Eight members met on a sunny day at Kilnsey Park to add to the species list begun earlier in the season in May. Once again the site was looking very lovely with Marsh Helleborines E. palustris and Fragrant Orchids Gymnadenia conopsea at their best. After a relaxing lunch with Win in her garden, four members then went on to look at the plants in Scott Gate lane in Conistone.

This change to the advertised programme was much enjoyed. There were many sightings of mid-summer flowers including the two Scabious, Field Knautia arvensis and Small Scabiosa columbaria, and five species from the Umbellifer family.
