Sat 17 Sept Next walk: Kendal Limestone way

We will follow the most scenic section of the Kendal Limestone Way; an easy 8 miles from Crooklands Inn to Kirkby Lonsdale via Lancaster Canal and Hutton Roof nature reserve.

Meet 9.30 at Colvend or park by Booths Supermarket in Kirkby and walk down the hill to the bus stop, in the town centre opposite the market square, in time for the 11.00 bus to Crooklands and Kendal

Bring a packed lunch and your bus pass.

This walk is free to Members and £3 to non-members

Our next meeting will be to Long Preston, on September 22nd. Car parking is limited in the village, so please car share where possible.

We are planning a walk in the morning, break for lunch and the another walk in the afternoon, both walks of about a mile, with just one steep bit.
