70in7 Walk in High Greenfield/Birkwith

This 70th Anniversary Walk is as a tribute to Jean Reinsch –
an 8-mile circular from High Greenfield (Langstrothdale) , into Ribblesdale,
via Old Ing and Calf Holes, Ling Gill Bridge, Nether Lodge and God’s Bridge –
an area of great diversity of interest.

High Greenfield is the very start of the river Wharfe in Langstrothdale, a former Royal hunting Forest. It is on a single track road so we will be using the Grassington Hub minibus to get there. Last Parking place for members is Buckden YDNP car park.
The Grassington hub minibus will leave
- 09:15 – Colvend, Grassington
- 09:20 – Long Ashes Road End – Opposite Netherside Hall
- 09:25 – Kilnsey Village Hall
- 09:40 – Kettlewell Car Park
- 10:15 – Buckden YDNP Car Park
Note that there is a Service minibus to Buckden that leaves Grassington at 09:00, so please look out for other members before boarding a passing bus.
There will be a chance to eat lunch en route so please bring a packed lunch and something suitable to sit on
