Walk: Grassington to Mossy Moor circular

This walk be a 6.5 mile circular from Grassington, via Intake Lane, Edge Lane, Hole Bottom, Miner’s road along Hebden Beck and onto Mossy Moor Ridge, Hebden and High Lane into Grassington.
Apart from an early good climb, any further inclines are gentle. We use tracks, turf paths and cross some sections of rough turf….. over stiles and through gates….. an area particularly featuring early lead mining. In view of the seasonal conditions we should prepare for wet and muddy terrain, or frost and ice !
