I went out with my camera on a bright sunny morning just before Christmas around Linton Falls, to see if there were any interesting plants about. There were some lovely ferns – Maidenhair Spleenwort in profusion on the walls, also some fronds of Common Polypody. Coming through the small patch of woodland to Falls Road, there was Hard Shield Fern. Leaves of Shining Cranesbill were much in evidence on the walls too.
