- National Trust, Brimham Rocks, Summerbridge, Harrogate, HG3 4DW
There is a parking fee of £6 for 4 hours, £9 all day, pay and display coins only, but it is free for NT members. (Don’t forget your membership card to obtain parking ticket.)
I suggest we share lifts from Colvend as a number of us are NT members. We will leave Colvend at 9:55am
The guided tour will depart the car park at 11.00 sharp.
The cost of our volunteer guide, Stephen Lewis, who as an amateur geologist is very well informed about the geology of the area, is £25 (a donation to the NT). We will divide the cost according to the numbers attending.
The tour will take about an hour.
After the tour we will be able to watch a video in the room upstairs over the shop, which will also be available for us to eat our lunch. Please bring a packed lunch as usual.
After the lunch we are able to spend the afternoon walking on site at leisure.
There is a Refreshment Kiosk open 11:00-4:00.
